Why Plant New Churches?

We plant new churches…

For the glory of God

God has made it clear that “at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Phil 2:10-11).  God’s plan for the world is to use His church, saved by grace, to lift Jesus up in the world. Jesus is better than anything. Living for Him is the greatest life we could live. We do this so that He might be seen as worthy of our lives.

For the good of those who don’t have a church family

Planting new churches is the best way to reach people with the good news of Jesus.  If Jesus and the life He gives is the best thing any person can know, then planting new churches to introduce people to Him is the best thing we can do.  We plant new churches because people must experience the same grace, life and hope that we have come to personally know through our relationship with Jesus.  Therefore, if we’re serious about people becoming followers of Jesus throughout the world, then we will plant as many new churches as possible

“God therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”  - Matthew 28:19-20
